So for the educational technology presentation our group chose the topic of internet safety. We broke it down into what is internet safety, how it relates to us teachers, how it relates to the curriculum, pros, cons, and some strategies to be internet safe.

Today we did our internet safety presentation, covering a range of topics such as the definition of internet safety, its importance, and the pros and cons of online activity. We also discussed various strategies and tips for teachers to incorporate internet safety into the classroom.
In our presentation, we emphasized the need for internet safety in today’s digital age, pointing out that the internet can be both a useful and dangerous tool. We discussed the various risks associated with online activity, such as cyberbullying, phishing scams, and identity theft. We also discussed the importance of protecting personal information and avoiding risky online behavior. We then moved on to discuss the pros and cons of the internet, acknowledging that while it offers many benefits, it also poses significant risks. We highlighted the importance of balancing the benefits of technology with the need for safety and security. Finally, we provided some tips and strategies for us as teachers to incorporate internet safety into their curriculum. These included starting with the basics, practicing safe browsing habits, and providing students with open communication. We also addressed how to incorporate online safety practices into classroom rules, and provide students with resources and tools to protect themselves online.
Overall, we think our group did a great job! We felt we were very organized, had good communication, and executed a well-prepared and informative presentation. We think that overall our internet safety presentation was educational and practical, highlighting the importance of staying safe online while also recognizing the benefits of technology. We hope our tips and strategies for teachers provided valuable insights for our classmates and how to incorporate internet safety into their own classrooms!
